Interior The Drunken Onion Get & Go kitchen is a Steamboat original, and strives to fill the specific needs of the Yampa Valley’s residents and visitors year round. 

My name is Ben Stroock and I am the Chef and Owner of The Drunken Onion Get & Go Kitchen.  I feel very fortunate to have lived in Steamboat since 1993, and to have started my family here.  My entire time in Steamboat I have worked in the restaurant industry, and feel that I have found an area where Steamboat’s culinary needs have not been satisfied.  Steamboat and the surrounding areas need an opportunity for people to purchase quality prepared foods at a fair price to serve in the comfort of their own homes. 

The Drunken Onion offers top quality food that is produced in a way that focuses on the customer’s ability to enjoy it at their convenience in their own home.  Restaurant quality food without the restaurant!  I thank you for checking out The Drunken Onion Get & Go Kitchen.

Yesterday I had to prepare lunch for a group (total of 20 people) that was in doing a site visit from our Corporate Office. I ordered from the Drunken Onion, Ben prepared a beef stroganoff, Caesar salad, homemade brownies and cookies - the food was EXCELLENT, most everyone went up for seconds. Ben worked with the time that was best for me to pick up the food and then all I had to do was heat it. I know I will be using Ben's service again, if any of you are needing to provide lunch or dinner I highly recommend the Drunken Onion.
